Bram Stoker is mostly well-known for his gothic horror novel Draculaa tale which has inspired numerous adaptations in many artistic media.
Although myths about vampires had existed since ancient times, Bram Stoker’s Dracula is considered by many to be the work that launched the vampire into the human lexicon, and is undoubtedly the most popular and well-known vampire story ever written.

The Judge’s House by Bram Stoker
Books by Bram Stoker. I thought that this would be predictable and that I would foresee the plot twist but I couldn’t. The title story “Dracula’s Guest” is believed to be the deleted first chapter of Stoker’s masterpiece, Dracula.
So, it didn’t scare me as much as made me sad. Dracula’s Guest and Other Weird Stories is a collection of shorter works on the strange and the macabre, first published intwo years after Stoker’s death.
Taken from a collection of journal entries, letters, telegrams, and newspaper clippings, Dracula is the grand sire of all vampire tales. Stoker was the third of seven children.
