Brilliance on a BudgetArco Publishing, Inc. My favorite Poe story will forever be The Tell-Tale Heartso I’ve always approached his work with the attitude that any other story will fall short of the brilliance in that one.


Not as good as I had remembered from high school. Reading his short stories as an adult, it has struck me that a lot of this suspense comes from his ability to thoroughly analyze and narrate a situation through the eyes of his characters.
