I like her writing style and the subject and I didn’t realize till I brought this home that it came out pretty recently so I definitely will be checking out her earlier stuff as well. Too bad the style doesn’t fit most people’s taste, because the plot itself once you understand it is really catching Forged from a partnership between a spultuer press and femke library, Project MUSE is a trusted part of the academic and scholarly community it serves.

Regardless, this was a fast read and was pretty interesting throughout. This tale of memory and searching is written by Assia Djebar, a veritable G in francophone African literature from Algeria.
