Lambda Literary Award-Winning Novelist
In addition to my writing, I am also a singer, sometime songwriter, and habitual (if not particularly skilled) ukulele player.
Back in 2003, I produced a little homegrown CD called Go Go Go, including about half original songs and half covers.
I've posted a few selections from that album here. If you think you want the CD, email me and let me know.
It is my fervent hope to record another album in 2010.
Here's my first YouTube video: me, my baritone uke, and the old Jo Stafford tune, "You Belong to Me" - in some moods, it's my very favorite song. (More videos to come!)

Carey: One of my favorite Joni Mitchell tunes.
Mexico City (I Remember): I wrote this song in 2002, at a good friend's home in (natch) Mexico City. It was about 2:00 AM, and I was experiencing the oddly lucid form of insomnia that often comes with altitude sickness. Of the few songs I've written, this is probably my favorite.
We'll Understand It Better By and By. An old gospel tune I've known since I was knee high. I love Rick Cunha's steel guitar on this track.
